Dr. Bianca J. Vazquez, MD FACS | Endocrine Surgeon, Scottsdale, AZ

I’m a board-certified General Surgeon with Advanced Fellowship Training in Endocrine Surgery now serving the State of Arizona. Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico I’m fluent in both English and Spanish. I pursued my surgical training at renowned Academic Centers: University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

My interest in the disorders of the Thyroid, Parathyroid and Adrenal Glands has been fueled by my own struggles with Autoimmune Thyroid Disease. The subspecialty training and high volume of our practice allowed me to gain great expertise, and low complications, not just on first time surgery but on complex and re-operative cases.

I’m fully committed to serving this community and often participate in regional medical education programs tailored to both patients and other providers. My professional goal is to provide evidence driven care to my patients in an individualized and easy to understand manner. My free time belongs to my husband Jorge and our two little boys; we love visual storytelling, music and traveling. Our weekends are often spent gardening our tropical fruit forest and enjoying our Frangipani collection.
